I was sure that I posted this last night so apologies if it appears twice on some PCs. The U K launch of the 991 is taking place at Porsche Centre reading on the evening of the 5th Dec. I have had a request from the centre to ask for some members to display their 911 models in the showroom that evening. We are looking for most variations of the model with the exception of 996 gen I and II as we already have these in the line up. Full details are;

991 Launch evening taking place Monday 5th December 2011 @ Porsche Centre Reading:
- 911 pre 1973
- G Series 1974 "" 1989
- 911 (Type 964)
- 911 (Type 993)
- 911 (Type 997) Gen I

Vehicles must be:
-Right Hand Drive
-2WD
-Narrow Body
-No unofficial parts/modifications (alloy wheels/bodykits)
-Carrera Coupe Derivative only (not GT/RS models)

Please phone or email by Monday of next week if you would like to be considered. I would like to think that once any member has committed there would be no backing out at the last minute, leaving the line up with a gap we would not be able to fill. This is a great opportunity for the region to show support for the club and the marque, and leave the political wrangling to those already mired in its minuteae.

Hi John,

I might be able to help with my black C2 3.6 997.

I've sent you an email to the R19 email address with my contact details.
