Hi. any Ideas re how to reset the windows To raise when closing the convertible roof? The roof opens and shuts fine but the windows aren’t auto closing. I can’t close the rear quarters at all! Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, Sorry to hear of your problems. How old is your car? Are you aware of the rear Windows have ever auto raised when closing the roof. I am sure mine did when I first had the car (2019), but noticed after having a big software update to cure a SOS problem, they never seemed to auto close. So I have to press the ‘rear window’ switch then manual close using the front window toggles.

Perhaps its something I need to mention to the OPC when its in next month.

Regards David

I had a similar issue with my 992 Cabrio. Hood closed fine but front windows closed out of sync - ie left then right and one of the rear quarters did partially close then open again; I then closed it manually. I think the issue with the rear quarter was that it sensed an obstruction and OPC did an adjustment and then recalibration sorted the sequencing of front windows.

I am no expert on 992 hoods but I did spend a lot of time addressing hood related issues on my 997 and if that's anything to go by, you need a visit to the OPC to get them to run a diagnostic/recalibration on the hood and possibly some adjustment. It's unlikely any sensors have gone bad at this age but its always a remote possibility.
