I have a lovely reliable and well sorted C4 non Vario
in red which I've only had for a few months but I've got this bug to go for a 993 Turbo. I noticed one at Amari which was for sale for ages so I've a few questions-
1. Do we think that values of Turbos has gone too far therefore resale will be a lengthy process?
2. How will I find the driving experience in comparrission to my c4?
3. What are annual running costs likely to be?!

As you may see from my other post, I've just done a deal on a Turbo conversion. I had also only had my C2 for three months, and remember seeing your 'purchase' posts when I was buying mine. I wouldn't have changed so fast but for the fact that the car came up at the local dealer where I bought my C2, and they have given me a very fair deal on the p/x.

Only driven the new car once. Amazed to find that the clutch, brake and gearchange all have a much lighter and slicker feel than the C2. I suppose it's down to the fact that they are more assisted in whatever way given the higher spec. The car obviously felt lower, and transmitted a good bit more of the road's imperfections up into the cabin, but still not the real boneshaker as I was expecting. Steering more lively as well, again due to different height and suspension no doubt.

The shove when the turbos spool up is going to take some getting used to. It feels like all hell has been let loose somewhere behind you, the front goes slighty light, and off she goes!

I deliberated for a good while about the value of the car, being a conversion, and the saleability, but having seen the condition and provenance when I finally went to look at it yesterday I am afriad I was smitten.
