993 C4S/ turbo brake disks?

I've checked the parts suppliers list above but can anyone who's been through this search recently save me a lot of time and tell me the cheapest supplier for the front disks? Not keen on cheap replicas because of the cracking issue (unless anyone's found an alternative brand of disks which are well made?)

Cheapest so far I've come across is £202 per disk + postage. So £430ish for two front disks, can you do any better?

Try Nigel at Powermarques 01724 784897, I buy most of my parts that I don`t get from the OPC from him. I seem to remember that the 993tt discs were only a little over half the price you mention a couple of years back.

With all brake components, (you'll need discs, pads, shims, sensors, plates and bolts) I just bite the bullet and go down the OPC route. It's been debated on here many times, but if you intend to keep the car, that's my advice.

Many thanks for both responses. I will give the man a call and yes I'd seen all those bits listed with the brakes?! I'm curious why all this is necessary when I've never had to buy these parts for the (frankly similar) 928 GTS callipers? Is adding these parts to the service list Porsche's answer to the plate lifting issue on earlier callipers?

If so I am quite aware how bad it can get when ignored, the bolts and plates rust in and will not budge but I will remove, inspect and refresh the parts I have now. Maybe just buy the bolts unless I see something that needs replacing. Usually the parts just need a good cleaning.

We do the Genuine Porsche discs for £182.13 inc vat each and OEM ones for £143.350 inc vat each
