993 Cab - Split Rear Screen

Hi,

I am going to look at a 993 Cab which has a split in the rear plastic screen, no details on size of the split etc

Southbound say that, as the screen is bonded in, and there is no guarentee of fully sealing a replacement screen, they recommend a full hood replacement

Has anyone else had experience with this problem?
