993 child seats

I've recently bought a 993. very, very happy... except, trying to find a car seat for my 18 month old daughter seems impossible. I've searched the threads here and seen the recomendation of the mamms & Pappas Sicura, however this has recently been discontinued and the only specialist i've found, Quickfit in Stanmore, has none leaft.
Can anyone suggest any other routes/dealers? I see the Pro-tec fits a 996, has anyone had any success with thisina 993?
The only remaining option i seem to have is to buy one through ebay?

Try the Porsche Prince from an OPC. They may let you try one for size. About £90 each. I have them for my 968 so would expect they fit 993.

thanks to both of you. Unfortunately according to my local OPC the Porche Prince has been discontinued as well!!
GRRRR.
Currently working out ways of fasioning a seat from old bits of polysteirene and some bits of plastic.
Quickfit in Stanmore very helpfull but can't do anything or give any other advice as none leaft.
He said he is currently looking into buying the mold for the sicurio though, so maybe next year.

I had a similar problem - couldn't find a Prince seat for love nor money. Halfords & Mamas & Papas couldn't recommend anything. The alternative is to hang on till your daughter's a little older/heavier. I managed to source a Porsche Zoom seat base + backrest from PCT in Coventry.

Both PCT & my local OPC confirmed that the Zoom was suitable for the 993. The only issue is that the child must be at least 17kg to use the seat, however it will last my daughter for a few years. The seat doesn't have integrated belts but uses the standard belts in the rear. Luckily enough the standard belts are long enough.

The seat base + backrest cost me £180 delivered.

Best of luck & welcome to the wonderful world of 993 ownership.
