New member
I have noticed that the door hinge pin has dropped down about an inch or so, advice on best way to restore the door pin back to original position.
What is the best tool to use (small hammer maybe) - very tight space to work in.
Any suggestions welcome. Thank you

Soft nose hammer if you can get one in there, otherwise just use a metal bar beneath the pin and tap the bar as close to the pin as you can get to knock it back into place. It will no doubt slip through again after use as it is probably worn, so you may need to replace with a new roll pin. There are special tools on the market to enable you to do this or just take it into your local garage.

Try a metal bar that runs through a door and connects the 2 sides of a door handle. Versatility and adaptability are the watchword of the DIYer! :ROFLMAO:
