993 EXHAUST

Does anyone in the Central Belt(ish) area have an off-side (right hand looking from rear) exhaust for a normally aspirated 993 that I could borrow for a couple of hours?

Strange request I know but I bought new boxes a fortnight ago and while the near-side one fits perfectly, the tail pipe to the off-side sits too high and projects too far out, resulting in the tip not fitting properly. I got a replacement box sent out but that seems to be pretty much the same. I now need to confirm that it is the manufacturing of the boxes that is wrong not something on the car.

In the unlikely event that it is the car, does anyone knows of a good welder that can handle stainless steel to do minor surgery to the box?

Thanks, Clyde

PS I can't use my own old box as the tail pipe has come away, I never was good at preventative maintenance []
