RHD 993 gt2 for sale, asking price £245000,

Ok , so the car is available at £245,000 and has been quoted as a joke price . I'd be interested to know how many RHD 993 GT2's were built and if the asking price is considered too high what is a realistic price for one of these cars today?. Top marks to the owner I say for using it.

Steve

U can of course ask anything u like , there were either 11 or 13 RHD globally inc S africa , Australia and H Kong..................mint RHD examples have been changing hands IRO £200k ..........................arguably bigger market for LHD but similar low mileage mint cars similar price ......................this car has been around a bit and maybe its not as pretty under all the paint !

Hello Vic,

Thanks for that information, I didn't think there were many built, but as there are that few to choose from £200k seems like a bargain to me for something that rare when you see what some other cars are advertised for.

Steve

THEY RE WONDERFUL CARS ............probably the best i ll ever have had , on the list of biggest mistakes selling my Clubsport !

I dont want to bang on but there are serious questions as to the black cars pedigree.............

Listen to Vic, there's not much that he doesn't know about the hidden history of these cars!

I think the owner of this car also bought the Bouncer Matt's black RHD 993 RS Clubsport too. Approx three or four years ago now. Assuming it hasnt already changed hands a few times.

Agreed Vic, I have heard a few stories about this GT2, I would not go into detail on a public domain however.

Does anyone know this car? http://www.hexagonclassics.com/car_sales/Porsche-993-GT2-Club-Sport/3469.htm

Anyone care to give me an estimate of what they think it's worth? (I know what they're asking for it....[;)])

well the advert is total nonsense, not a clubsport, not even a factory cage, its a matter half bolt in cage.
They are all advertised at silly money, history etc is the important factor.

Thanks Paul.

They want > £275k for it!

Not that I am in the market for one, but at this level of ££££££ you would have to be concerned that a car being advertised isn't even described correctly....madness!

UPDATE!!!

Just been told that the GT2 (or whatever it is [;)] ) at Hexagon has been sold and will be on it's way to France. It seems a bit crude to mention the price, but if someone asks me....
