Looks very nice and I don't even like silver much!! Watch out for import tax as there will be no EU duties paid.

Nick - Peter Doepfer at Carrera Motors in South Africa also has one for sale - half way down the page. I WANT that 914/6 [:D]

As has been discussed on another forum - not if the car was first registered elsewhere in the EU and EU taxes paid at that time - it sometimes happens that way and then imported to Switzerland afterwards [:)]

The point to watch is if the duty was claimed back when it went into Switzerland - however this couldn't be done until recently and still can't be done in certain countrys - but if they weren't then AFAIK Customs can't insist on the duty being paid again.

Each car needs checking on a case by case basis though.

The chap in SA has a nice selection of cars ( 356's and alike )......and if I'm doing my ROE's right on face value i.e. not taking into account taxes, import duties etc look reasonably priced.

There 2 other GT2 s out there with/or via the Main Agent in J burg, one red one one highly , but well modded, yellow one with all original bits included ............both direct from The Fatherland taxes paid 35% into Africa and as no Eu taxes paid wud be additional if brought back................for what its worth abt what i d expect to pay here plus tax! ......................................checked the rest of regs ..........unless race car or someone desperate for dosh needing to sell does nt work to bring to UK .............Nice black car on Paul Mac s site still best on offer imo at mom

Check out the gearbox.

All Swiss cars in the 993 series had to have a higher ratio gearbox fitted due to noise and economy issues.

And please tell me if this is duff information !

964 RS America HOW MUCH! Must be a mistake, tricked up end of production run rebadged C2 Stuttgart accountants marketing ploy to shift 94 Model year cars from the showroom with the advent of the 993! , as much as an RS as my a*se is a snipe shooter............
