Hi

Does anyone know how many 993 GT2's were built - RHD and LHD road versions , and if possible how many race versions were built?

Nigel Barrett

Nigel, according to Peter Morgan's " Original Porsche 911" there were 202 1995/6 models built, of which 50 were built for the road.

There was also an Evolution model produced in 1998 - haven't got figures for these.

Like Vic, I've no idea where this one went, but take a look at the Turbo Register gallery to see the ex Walter Rohrl 993 ( now / still? owned by Marcus Cochrane) - a fabulous car which must feel somewhat restrained by the confines of the Channel Islands!
