993 heater not working

My heater works initially when first hot then appears to stop as the car gets colder, the fault codes suggest its either the heater control or/as well as a sensor.
If we reset the fault codes it will not talk to the car unless we let it cool down again then the codes come up again when we start.
I understand there is a motor and a temp control sensor on the back of the unit and there are 2 sensors/resistors somewhere in the back of the car.
Anyone know what to look for or suggestions on a fix? - winters here!
Any help appreciated.

Hi Porka,
there's a sensor and resistor in the air tube from the air fan to the heat exchanger in the engine bay. Looking at the car from behind, on the left hand side is a black plastic tube from the fan goin downwards towards the underneath of the car. Just after the fan, you'll find both the fan and the resistor. I'd start there.

Regards
GR
