Has anyone got a good working 993 Indicator/Wiper assembly - specifically the 2 stalk basic version... ?
Left stalk operates indicators/main beam/headlight flash, Right operates screen wipers/washer/headlamp washers.

(Not the super-duper one with 4 stalks... i.e. with additional cruise and computer stalks).

I don't have one Paul but if yours has just stopped working I would recommend taking the steering cowl off and spraying electrical contact cleaner into the inside while moving the lever to all the positions. I fitted two new windscreen washer pumps before checking the switch. Half an hours work sorted it and it has worked perfectly since.

Thanks for the thought, Clyde - bit of a bu**er if I take it all off, do that, and it still doesn't work... we'll see.
It's the right direction indicator position won't hold (unless you physically hold it in position, which is less than suitable in some circumstances).

Sounds like the the pin's broken off, probably not a diy repair. Have you tried the breakers (Douglas Valley, Porschapart, etc) for the part?

Not yet - working on it[;)] ...actually seems to be both directions where it doesn't like staying on...

Thanks for the thought, but not similar enough, unfortunately - there are always some slight differences[8|]
