Hi everyone,

Can anyone help,I've just purchased a 993 and need to get her insured, does anyone have any good Insurer out there,as it's a 1997 it won't qualify as a classic.

your help would be much appreciated.Nigel

I'd second Lancaster. Substantial saving on my renewal. I have agreed value, BTW. Footman "Whatever your pride and joy, rest assured, we'll get you covered" James were a complete waste of my time. Tried their short and long form online applications only to be told they could not offer cover.

ClassicLine treat all 993's as a 'classic' and will do agreed value as well.
+1 for Classic Line, Stewart - and the MD is a Porsche enthusiast too (used to have a 993, I believe[;)]). And ‘substantial’ saving on my previous insurers, too, with agreed value valid for 2 years.

+2 for Classic Line. Excellent service and multi vehicle policies available as well. They will allow some business use too !!

Another + for ClassicLine, my 2004 C4S is insured as a 'modern' classic ( +5 years old) with agreed valuation. hth Paul

I've used R&H for the last 7 years as no one can offer anywhere near the level at the cost. 5000miles limited, UK & European comprehensive recovery, Track Cover, Fully Comp including Business usage, Guaranteed value excess around £150 all for £470.
