I need some work done on the interior of the car including the seats and tears on the doors and other areas. Can anyone recommend a specialist in and around London?

Thanks

I would always recommend Southbound Motor Trimmers, near Stockbridge in Hampshire, if you can't find anyone in London. They have specialised in Porsches for many years, and do a very good job, as I can testify.

There might be a bit of a waiting list though.

SNAP !!! Interior looking a bit grubby door handles ingrained dirt in bolsters etc etc ,, would a decent valeter be able to do this ?????

Gliptone Products sell by mail order,a gentle leather shampoo which they say includes a reconditioner/glycerine;you follow this with their leather conditioner which leaves a leather smell in the cabin. They recommend applying the shampoo with a soft cloth or sponge and working it in with a soft nailbrush in a circular movement,ie don't scrub.
Frankly,I have used it but for really grubby leather,I also use Comma's carpet & trim cleaner,You could also go to Tesco's et alia & buy 1001 carpet shampoo. This comes in a spray bottle and we have found it very good on carpet,so with care ,wiping it off afterwards with a damp cloth,it should do for leather ,etc, after all,all these cleaners like that are basic detergents;the cheaper ones have more water in them.
If using detergent on your trim worries you, then use Johnsons baby bath liquid soap.

My leather needs connolising, only the 2 front seats. So I'm gona get that done over the winter.
It's the ingrained dirt on the door cards I want to clean off. I have tried a few things but nothing seems to shift it. Car will be going into OPC Reading for service soon and Specialist Paint people around the corne for rust on rear screen so I'll ask those chaps if they have any ideas. Will post after.

Where are you planning on getting the connolising done?

Phone Mark Slade from Benchmark Leather Renovation 0208 771 9687 / 07720 287 944.

Did my car very good job.

See Before

Good luck Bradley

Hi Seb,

Specialist Paintwork around the corner from OPC Reading use a mobile company. They where going to do it themselves but said the mobile company have more experiance. I am getting the details when I drop my car in for the rust around the rear screen. Happy to pass the details on when I get them.

That would be great, thanks
