993 Performance Airbox

I previously had a 993 Coupe which had a 993 Performance Airbox fitted. I now have a 993 Cab, which does not.

I do think the induction noise is slightly lacking without, but do these actually make any difference to the perfomance? Both my cars are pre-varioram if that makes any difference.

Does anyone have a second hand one for sale?
 
Weren't they actually called 'Motor sound pack' option? Clue's in the name, so Porsche didn't expect performance improvement.

New covers come up on ebay from time to time Tony or any of the usual Porsche suppliers will sell you one for around £75.
