993 " product improvement" ...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You may have noticed on the Club 993 Register site a message about a " potential" problem with 993s (supplied in 1994/5/6) wiring loom.

Not being mechanical or technical, I contacted Porsche GB, who were very helpful, gave them my VIN. They can determine if your car falls within the period of production that may require " improvement" in this area. Very efficient.

I would recommend any one with model year 1994/5/6 to contat any OPC, and quote;

W301 Product Improvement Programme. Have your VIN available too!

JP,

Is it possible to move this tread to the 993 forum?

As you probably know it' s a hot topic on the Titanic mailist and as many 993 owners as possible should be made aware of it.

Mark

It is only possible to move an ENTIRE forum not an individual psot or thread. I have put a link to this thread in the 993 section.
