Hi,

I believe Porsche always fitted Becker radios as standard, unless the uprated Bose system was specified. Is this correct and if so does anyone know which Becker model was fitted as standard equipment to late model 993's ?

I have an after market Alpine fitted, which works after a fashion, but I was thinking of changing this for something nearer original, albeit perhaps a later model. For example the Becker Traffic Pro also has a navigational facility built in. Is this any good?

Many thanks for your reply. I'm no ice expert either was just thinking of having the original equipment, but realise that if I buy a Becker from any supplier it will not be marked Porsche. I will have think about this for the time being.

If the 993 register is going to meet at Cornbury House in May as suggested, maybe I will get some comment then.
