I have to find a new back wheel fro my 1995 993 C2 the tyre size is 255x40x17 but what is the rim size and offset, where can I find this information. The car has Cup 2 wheels.

Cheers,

If your other rear is a genuine Porsche Cup 2 wheel it will have the rim size and offset stamped either side of the valve stem. I would expect a 1995 car to be 9 inch rim with offset of 55 but there were some early cars that came with a different offset I believe (70 ? ).

My car is a 95 model year and has 17" Cup 2 wheels. Rears are 9", 70 mm offset, fronts are 55mm offset.
As previous poster says, these are cast either side of the tyre valve. Later cars are fitted with 55mm offset all round.

Hi Aarndell - best way to be sure is to remove either wheel, though ideally the good one, and tell us the part numbers on the back, as the aftermarket wheels also have numbers, and then you'll be certain that you have a matching pair.

Original so-called Cup2 rears are either 993.362.128.00 (9J55) or .01 (9J70) or (very unlikely) even 8J 993.362.126.00 ET52 or .01 ET70
