993 Rebuild help

Hello everyone.
I have a LHD 993 C4 from 1995.
It has been in bits for quite some time while having paint work done. I am now trying to rebuild with little joy as I’m not even sure what I’m missing and where things go such as clips, trim, seals etc. is there a go to bible to assist with such a project? Or even better, are there any 993’s local to Ludlow, Shropshire that I could possibly look at and take pics? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Rob

I had a similar dilemma a few years ago when I rebuilt a totally dismantled Morgan from the ground up.
The solution was to buy another complete Morgan and sell that for a profit when I had used it as a template. Not as silly as it may sound? :)

Hi, Adrian Streather's book: 'Porsche 993 The essential companion' might cover some of the info you're looking for, but a guinea pig car sounds like an ideal solution - maybe find a club member and do a video walk-round their car? Good luck.

Also worth looking for Diy procedures on p-car.com and https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum-58/ forums.
p-car has specific 993 diy step by step pictorial guides set out, as does rennlist, but you may have to search to find them as has a lot of 993 content.
Both are US based sites and centre around Lhd US spec cars, they often refer European 993 as ROW (rest of world) cars, there are subtle differences such as alarm systems, gearing etc...
