What a rare find and lovely car if as good as it looks in pics, with those miles and one owner, money seems about right too. Scott R

Nice find, that really does look like a nice example.......they seem to have leapt out of my price range. []

993 RS for sale in the uk, 25000 km, £85000.00
very nice.

The original advert in Japan suggested that some sort of seal was disturbed so it was advertised as "repaired" to avoid misrepresentation. Perhaps when the car was looked at thre was no evidence of repair and hence the price. Harry

Do u mean the silver one ? u won t see it under £100 today 25k miles and still as it left the factory

Vic, This was advertised as a repaired vehicle. The advert said that the seal appeared disturbed and therefore the seller classified the vehicle as "repaired" and was slightly underpriced for what I would expect it to go for as a Japanese official import car (ie Japanese equivalent to a C16). Harry

Actually thought Jason was referring to Phil Taysoms silver rs,now with another good mate of mine, well he does say etc ete ......which most certainly is as original no fixing at all!

Much confusion,,,I thought Vic was referring to Mr Taysoms silver rhd RS...sublime condition and Vic may well be on the money with his price. Personally, I would be ultra cautious of non European spec cars, where it may be difficult to find the life history, there will be several tiers of pricing with these cars based on condition and story....I don't know anything about the lhd silver car, but I doubt Thomas would pay anthing like the asking price, unless it was truly exceptional.

Went with Tom to view the silver 993 rs, its a left hand drive but originates from Japan, fully documented with history, a few issues are steel bonnet, suspect the japanese dealer swapped the original aluminium bonnet, plus there are two shades of silver around the front, both front wings have been painted, and a new front scuttle panel is evident, mileage is genuine, screws on the back of the speedo are still sealed as from the factory and speedo code is relevant to year of manufacture, a couple of grand should put it right.

Nice to meet you Steve, and thanks for honest appraisal of the car. Yours is stunning by the way [:)] Just trying to agree a price with Tom now, but it looks like it'll be returning to its homeland. Cheers, Bryn.

Hi Brynn, nice to meet you, good luck on the sale, its a lovely example, hope it can stay in the UK, but as you know the rs market is poor in the uk with exchange rate, Tom is doing more sales in Europe at the moment.
