993 RS reasonable price

Has been around for a while, even more reasonably priced now though, slightly surprised it hasn't sold into europe already with relative currency strength, you need to ask why? [;)]

Maybe it would suit you Des?....You could find out something interesting about it's 94,500 miles, talk the provenance and prices up, then sell it on to a newbie looking for an RS? [:D]

There was a polar silver 993 rs went today for around £30,000 ish, insurance company auction down Bristol, stolen recovered
allegedly, believe Douglas Valley breakers bought it allegedly ?

I agree, I think that looks value so long as the work done was not too many miles ago ...

Not a show car, but it could be a fab drive ...

certainly been around a while...wonder whereabouts in France it is....since I'm touring the country at the mo!

3.6 Variocam? What is that please ......... thought these came with a non -Varioram engine in Cup mode and what is variocam?

White cup car is nt totally original, it does have an impressive Wagen Passe, subject to mileage since rebuild , was a while back, has real potential .......i spoke to a Guy there abt 2 weeks ago , they re not porsche people but seemed pretty open......at that price might well be worth a punt

The red car has been in the underground car park in Paris a LONG TIME ...............at that price with all the bills i cant see why no one s bought it ...............

Happy punting chaps

ps know nothing watsover abt silver car at auction

That cuppie looks nice, agree on seriously impressive wagen passe,,a few inaccuracies in the ad, clearly a non varioram cup spec lump in the photo and they mention eligibility for the open,,oh how times change []

Not bad value when you look at some RS asking prices. Then again, there is a more limited market for cuppies, you are either going racing or clearly nuts to be using one on the road! [:D]

Des a variocam is one of those webcams situated in various compromising positions is it not ?[:D]

Funny how 993 CUP car market is tiny... Always the same appear, then disappear, then reappear. I believe that this particular car was for sale at Gmund a while back, then at Sean Lockyear, then at this other dealer.

The sean Lockyer CC went to my friend who was in the garage at Spa .............and is indeed that car; the advertised car was rebuilt in Germany just before it arrived here abt 2003 and has indeed been associated with all them up Norf mentioned ,agreed small demand ...........glad i did it ,BUT after all the derivatives i v e owned it is by far the most extreme and is therefore something quite different .........which is what i was looking for

I should have said that few ever appear for sale. Not many buyers for sure, because it is quite extreme, but owners tend to be true enthusiasts who know their stuff [;)]

SO VERY TRUE RE OWNERS ..............i think u ll agree the problem is most have been smashed to bits and therfore to find one thats useable is very difficult..............above all to find out what they re really like needs a fair bit of research or a reputable source
