Does any one have any idea how many right hand drive 993 rs where ever mad and what wouid one be worth now I've found one but the guy asking I think far to much help please

Believe around 75 RHD worldwide, with 36 lightweights and 7 clubsports destined for the UK, current prices are dependent on various factors such as mileage, condition, colour and seller, I would expect a low mileage, original panel, matching numbers to retail for £95,000+
and a RHD clubsport must be £125,000 onwards, and these figures could well be slightly on the conservative side.

Personal preference for lhd also, but i think Steves bang on with prices and conservative too .............RHD ones i ve seen lately are mint and will certainly command £110 +

Specialist Cars of Malton appear to have a couple in stock at the moment.

Always a good indicator of where the top of the market is!

There are more than 50 in the uk,alone.Take in other countries such as,Aus,NZ,HK,Japan,Malasia, etc
47 cars on the official import list to the uk,plus the extra cs built.
You can still pick up a rs at sensible money with sensible miles and not a show queen.

I don't think I would pay a premium for rhd - think those days are over.

I think it comes down to personal preference. Some odd folk like me, prefer to sit on the RHS, while driving in the UK, and so I had to pay a little extra for it, purely because of the the numbers made..... 70 odd against 1100 odd. I've no regrets and would do the same again. Whatever floats your kayak! [:D]

Given the way the economy seems to be heading in the UK and Eurozone, I'd say the market in the Far East, especially HK, where RHD is the only option, is probably helping to keep the RHD premium in place IMO.

I think Steve and Vic's pricing is spot on.... maybe as Vic says, a little on the conservative side. Around £95k from a private owner for a top example, but more like £110k+ from a dealer for the same car.

There have been a few standard cars around with upwards of 80k miles under their wheels (which is still a ridiculously low mileage for cars that are driven) --- which I believe brought in the mid £80k 's ...

With RHD & LHD cars on par in price terms that could mean that 'when' we see more euro weakness against the pound it 'could' mean that if LHD cars stay stable price wise in €EUR terms and RHD cars tumble in value big time in £GBP terms. Get out of RHD cars now whilst you can.

this forum is not to get like piston heads!!![:D]
We have even banned des from bulling the prices up and down to suit his current steed[:D]

Prices seem higher on mainland Europe! Perhaps just dealers asking daft money? But seems to be shortage of them around at the moment.

Thanks for the rsr wheel link.
Prices for the rs in euro land seem high, cars have been for sale for a long time now.

The wheels are to expensive for me to abuse, the problem is that fuchs are going to redo most wheels sizes which will hit the bottom out of the original wheels. They have been for sale for some time,he also had the 11inch with boxes also!
