993 RS Road Test on TV

A few of you may have seen this, Andrew Frankel tests the 993 RS back in 1995 vs. the 2.7RS at Cobham. Quality came out pretty well after I finally found the tape in my garage. Enjoy!

It was the UK press car, as featured in the Colin Goodwin Car test, Performance Car vs the NSX etc. Not sure if it's true but was told by Karen at Autofarm that it was badly damaged and not rebuilt properly, panel gaps were poor etc. Anyone able to verify?

Doubt it now has same no plate.

Nice post, thanks, I haven't seen that for a while....

Probably right with the conclusion too...[;)]

Thanks for loading the vid, great to see the period review of the 993 RS. Could that be the car been offered for sale recently as a Cat D by a Breakers yard?

@45s it looks like a 2.7RS to me?

There is a Gino Ginelli ice cream wagon @35 secs though?...It looks similar to one which appears twice on page 88 of this months post (for a change[8|] )
Start the year as you mean to go on Melv [:D]
