993 tail pipes

Does anybody here have any experience of Design Tek tail end pipes? I would like to replace the ones on my 993 as they are looking a bit shabby. It's difficult to tell what kind of quality they are from a picture on a website and it would be nice to know if anyone here has them fitted.

Thank you

Design 911 who are design tek, also sell Fabspeed exhausts,(well they did do last time I checked). Ive got muffler bypasses on my car from fabspeed. Id bet money on it that both companys products wont be that much different from each other. Ive had good a good experience with mine. www.fabspeed.com

I have the diamond black Design Tek tips on mine. I got them a couple of years back and they are fairly good quality items and a straight swap for factory items. I do have two comments though: Firstly - they are quite large, I think they look good but my son thinks they're a bit too much of a boy racer look. Bit of a role reversal there [:D] Secondly - if you go for the diamond black ones don't clean them with metal polish. Mine were looking a bit grubby with road tar, soot, etc so without really thinking about it I got to work on them with Autosol and by the time I realised it was taking the finish off it was too late. I now have shiny silver tips []. My old metalwork teacher is probably turning in his grave.
