993 TARGA

I am thinking of changing my Boxster S to a 993 as everybody seems to be saying this is the best 911 to go for. I am thinking about a 993 Targa on the basis that it should hopefully appreciate in value wheras my Boxster has been depreciating heavily.

Does anybody know how many 993 Targa's were imported officially to the UK and if possible how many of those were Iris Blue metallic?

Thanks

everybody seems to be saying this is the best 911 to go for. it is a nice car graham but that is a bit of a sweeping statement[:D] it is probably one of the least depreciating, and also one of the most beautiful(imo)but it is definately only "the best" for certain people.for everyday usability many of us would take issue with that do make sure its what your needs match before going for it purely as a means of avoiding depreciation as this is never a good reason for buying a car (again imo)
