993 to a 996tt part ex opp or clean purchase??

Only a thought at this point but ever since I had a "drivers experience" with my local OPC in a 997Turbo S for an hour, I've kept having an itch for a Turbo. Now to say a 997Turbo S is out of my range would be an understatement. So what do you think the chances would be of a swap of a 94 plate 993 C2, 62k, full service history of OPC and one specialist, working A/C, Electric Seats, think I'm the 3rd owner, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, Aventura Green with Black interior 17" cup wheels, all original stickers, hand books and docs. Noting it is an originally registered Australian Car, shipped to Japan by its Japanese owner then coming to the UK about 11 or so years ago but is right hand drive, HID upgrade to the head lights and very original i.e. no mods other than an ECU re-map by Chipwizard! for an early 996TT with about 50-70k miles and full history?? or would I be better selling privately and purchasing out right. (I dont like the selling process of tyre kickers and idiots!)

Thoughts would be appreciated, would a step down in performance for a Turbo owner just not happen.

I think they are different enough that someone will be interested. I posted a slightly excessive response on 911 uk (I get carried away sometimes sorry) but the gist was they are two very different driving experiences.

Also if it's a trade you are looking for you could talk to people about price gap more than budget. People may have varying values in their mind for each car. Saying 'for example' I would be willing to put in up to £10k for the change. Might get more people thinking?

Just a thought
