993 tt speaker upgrade

I have not had a real close look at them yet, but by the shape of the covers I assume there is a main speaker with a smaller one at the side of it. The front and rear speakers covers appear to be the same, but are handed, so the internals may be all identical. Has anyone upgraded their sound system yet and are there any direct replacement speakers available?
