Request has come in via Club Office.
If you have a 993 turbo and are interested, please liaise directly with the Production Company - and let us know how you get on!

" My name is Thomas Maguire and I am writing from an independent TV company called Daisybeck Productions where we are about to start shooting the third series of an ITV4 programme called Used Car Roadshow. Within the show we are hoping to feature a Porsche 911 Turbo from the mid-90s (i.e. an early 993 Turbo) and a 924S on a 1988/89 plate ideally but earlier is OK too, and I thought you might be able to raise a little interest through your website and/or members' list. The items themselves will be an examination of how different cars have, and will, depreciate in value, and we hope to use these cars to illustrate the point and, really, just show them off. After all they are very visually striking cars!

For the purposes of the show we will only be shooting it in a static set-up, i.e. we will not need to drive it around anywhere. Our studios are located in Leeds and we can cover any expenses that will be incurred by travelling etc.

Is this something that you think you can help us with? If you like, you forward my contact details and any interested parties can contact me directly if they are at all interested - but I will leave this up to your own discretion, of course.

Many thanks for your time."

Thomas Maguire

I did offer but they've found a local one. I think there was a sigh of relief - Petrol expenses for a 400 mile round trip........

Rang them up, told em I've got a 993 turbo and live in Leeds.

They said what year is it, I said 1996. They said 'oh we really need a 1993/94 car'. I told em they don't want a 993 turbo then.

Anyway said they would ring me back, heard nothing.
