993 turbo cab?

Nice find. Porsche did make a handful of 993 Turbo cab's with the 964 Turbo 2 engine as part of the Special Wishes programme. It is mentioned in the '993: King of Porsche' book. Didnt know any were RHD though, this is one rare beast, still, put me down for a Turbo S anyday [:D][;)]
Alan.

There was one for sale in Monaco a few months back.

I hate 'POA' - Has anyone bothered to ring for a laugh to ask how much?

From memery there was 14 of them built in total all with 964 Turbo 3.6 engines, last one up for sale somone was asking €140000!!. Would be worth checking if its original etc.

Wow - that is a nice car. I too have read about these in the 993 book, but no mention of rhd there. One should be able to tell from the VIN number what the body / engine / year etc are - and maybe even cross check with Porsche. I believe that the Sultan of Brunei has had a number of so-called-lhd-only cars built in rhd to his order, including EB110, F40 and others. I wonder what this will sell for?

As an aside - anyone know why 991uk seems to be inaccessible at the moment?

I know of two RHD ones.... and as for price, there was one advertised in Porsche Post about a year ago for around £80k IIRC - sold immediately!

Whichever one of you hated the term "POA" should have another look at the selling company's website - half of the more modern Porsches have "Physical" as the helpful indicator of value alongside the "Price:" caption. Ties up with a more recent post. Plonkers.

Realised that I'm talking rubbish. The two cars that I'm thinking about are both 964 Turbo 2 cabriolets.... another mythical beast.
