993 Turbo Servicing

Although I am a (very) proud owner of a 964 Turbo - Silver 1992 - A friend of mine has just bought a damn fine 993 version - Iris Blue.

It currently has a full set of OPC service stamps, but what is the thinking on taking it to a Specialist?

How much more value will it retain by adding more OPC stamps.

Any thoughts?

I'll be slightly controversial and go with the other opinion.

Absolutely none provided the specialist is good and has a good name in the market place.

There are cases for both - people who are new to the Porsche world, or didn't do a lot of research will demand a full OPC history.

Real enthusiasts who did their research will realise that a TT serviced by an known independent will probably have been better looked after, so will pay more for it.

Basically I am of the opinion that a car serviced by a known independent specialist will not devalue, and don't let the punters talk you into it.
