Morning

I had an advise on my MOT this morning, passed though, for 2 rear tyres. The fronts are also getting close.

I have had a ring around locally and can get a full set of Continentals - 205 50 ZR 17 fronts and 255 40 ZR 17 rears fitted and balanced for £444 plus VAT

That sounded OK to me, but is that competitive?

Thoughts appreciated

I have currently got N2's on the back and N0's on the front. Should they be the same?

Ideally they should be the same front and rear but it's more important to have the same make and N rating on the same axle because different N ratings are a different spec, albeit they may only have changed slightly. If its Sports Contact 2's you're getting I believe they are only available in N2 version now, so I would presume that'll be what you've been quoted on but mught be worth confirming in case they have some old stock?
