993 wheels on a 964 ?

The chances are "probably". It depends on the wheel offsets (the ET number) and that may depend on which model 993 they came from.. If they are Porsche OEM wheels then a part number would help, otherwise the width (the J number) and the offset would allow us to give a more specific answer. Unfortunately, "Cup alloys" doesn't really tell us much since there are several varieties although the likelihood is that they are Cup 2 wheels. Nevertheless, width and offset would crack it.
