993 Workshop manuals ?

A few weeks ago I part-exchanged my 01 Boxster S for a 97 Ocean Blue 993 C2S - and over the last week have been having the drive of my life up in the highlands of Scotland ...... fantastic car.

I bought the BoxS new and so did' nt really want to do any work on it myself (void warranty etc) but as the 993 is a few years older I quite fancy getting my hands dirty - while obviously sticking to the OPC' s for servicing. The problem I have is that I cannot find any source for workshop manuals / electrical schematics for the 993 cars ... can anyone help out?

cheers,
Pete.

I don' t know about workshop manuals but you could take a look at the website

www.p-car.com

This is a US based site devoted to the 993 and gives a lot of diy information with plenty of pictures. It is a personal site not connected to any third party.

I have not had my car long enough to know how good his info is but it is well laid out and gives the impression he knows what he is talking about.

Hope you find it of interest.

Michael
