993RS/CUP CAR ABS?

Can someone please tell me the differences between the RS and Cup Car ABS operating systems, allegedly the RS system switches off when the rubber leaves terra firma?
 
My Cup abs ecu arrived today complete with new mounting plate to relocate it on the chassis leg. It requires a few minor changes to the wiring harness - moving a few wires and adding another live - it all seems fairly straightforward to fit and I should have it in this week in time for the weekends motorsport. The Club Speed Championship visits Cadwell Park on Saturday for a single lap sprint followed up by Harewood Hillclimb on Sunday. I'll let you know how it performs next week.
