Outstanding Paul. I would love one of those. How does the drive compare to a normal 993 RS? Have you had it on a rolling road? What does it weigh?

Fantastic!...how does it compare to your previous Gt2 & cup cars round Spa?

sad I know, but I much prefer these cars to the Turbo charged bruisers [;)]

Stiffer than my old cup car, adjustable front roll bar from inside the cabin, its great to adjust as the fuel load gets lighter.
Makes the rs feel like a boat on the track
It weghts around 1120 with me in it.
Its a gt2 underneath as in all the running gear ,suspension is fully rose jointed, larger short drive shafts, adjustable dampers and springs.Just lacks the 500bhp i used to have in the gt2 racer.
You can have a drive in it,if you are good at oulton 2008 rs day,be there!!
Hows your car coming on Johnny, engine finished yet.

Sounds superb Paul...and I thought a cup car was stiff![:D]
love the adjustable roll bar idea.....Only thing is after a ride in such a dream machine (surely the ultimate 993 indeed 911) would the Clubby ever feel the same again??? [:D]

Hope to be at Oulton '08..(keeping well out of your way as you pass!)

It sounds mega. I agree, it is the ultimate 911.
I would love a go at Oulton 2008.
My car engine is built, is now being put in the car and having a few basic bits put back in too (like a heater blower which it didn't have before). To be fair, I am just looking forward to a torque-rich engine which I didn't have before. There is no way I will miss Oulton 2008!!

Very nice pics Paul. Not sure whose is the other one but it would be great to have three RSRs next year in the Open. I'm haven't seen the plans for GT90 next year but I would have thought the RSR would feel at home with its friends from that era!

Hi Peter
No the rsr needs sorting for next season, also i am away to the rennsport re union at daytona,so sadly i will have to give the ring a miss this year.

Hi Pau hear Daytona wa a buzz, and hear a new RSR soon to these shores...must get Steve to arrange a class

A well known QUICK wheelman , hopefully it will be doing the GT90s as well .I spoke to Olivier and it looks like 5 or 6 races next year starting with Silverstone in April . Then aruond Europe France ,Italy etc and fields will be big , there will be 6 993 GT2s alone.TV coverage and the usual good organisation make it more than the normal race weekend. If you boyz enter your RSRs we could get transport arranged for Euro events.

Daytona was tops, best event i have ever been to.
That fast wheel man is not so fast at the moment,he has been eating to many american pies!![;)]
The other rsr is not confirmed yet
I think once the dates for the gt90 is sorted,we should try and sort some good race support and truck etc
I have a couple of guys lined up possibly,i am sure we can get 4 cars with lorry trailer etc

Yes GT90's should be great. And as its a proper FIA event end of year trophy night will be down at Monaco with the rest of the FIA awards.
