Is it my imagination that the prices of 993's on pistonheads are going up rather than down? Had a quick look again tonight and was surprised to see this.......[:D].

Over at our cottage on IOM last weekend, saw a 993 in the local rag, went to look, checked out with my son re; HPI etc immediately rang seller and said I would have it.Unfortunately a dealer with cash turned up next day,so lost it.

993 C2 1994 LHD Tiptronic S 108000 miles Guards red graphite /black full leather interior sports suspension full fixed rear spoiler list of extra's long as your arm really immaculate same owner last 10 yrs FSH just had front wishbone bushes replaced(PU) ÂŁ11,500.

Not surprised it went quickly at that price. No wonder a dealer turned up with cash to take it away.

If anyones got a 993 ,manual, coupe, preferrably under 80 000 miles for sale ,i ve been searching on behalf of my son for 4/5 weeks missed 2 ,passed on 1, still looking pse tell me where they all are? .....................all i look for, as basic requirement, is last 3 year full history, doesnt want silver!

Tks but red does nt work ......................

I would say that non metallic red is a slightly unusual colour on a 993, compared to some earlier models - (e.g. 3.2 carreras), but it works very well in my humble opinion. But then to me, anything looks good on a 993 - red, black, white, blue, yellow.

How wrong you are - red suits the 993 and 997 in my opinion. Not sure about 996 in GR - don't recall ever having seen one. Each to their own I guess.
