993TT at harbourcars

does anyone happen to know anything about the history of the 993TT with GT2 body bits and various other upgrades that Harbour Cars in Chichester have for sale. (see http://www.harbourcars.com/stock/index.html). Its got around 41,000 on the clock and they are asking 47,000 for it. The've had it since before Christmas and having driven past every weekend I'm getting close to persuading myself I should make them an offer and I could live with the speeed yellow colour, as an acquired taste. I had a good look at its bodywork while it was parked on their lawn last weekend as I was visiting the chandlery next door, and its very clean indeed, but I've no idea on its history which if I do this is the next thing to investigate. If anyone knows anything about it I'd be very interested. If I do the 4S will have to go!

The car (re R1TBO) used to be owned by the neighbour of a friend just outside B'ham . He extensively tracked it but it seemed well looked after . It has also be sold or at least stocked ( twice ?) by Shirleys of Meriden if I remember correctly . I've got to admit it look very nice .

Did you look into this car any further as I've thought of taking a look.
 
I'm pretty certain they bought it off ebay, I've seen them buy a lot off there. Don't know anything about this particular car though sorry. Always remember to get a full PPI from a respected dealer/inspector first
