Hi All
I have recently received the following request from 40th Anniversary owner Tony Murphy.
As you may know the R7 group annual Porsche festival is taking place on the 23 July this year at Lotherton hall in Yorkshire. As part of the festival we are trying to organise a gathering of 996 40thAnniversary Edition cars.

As an owner of a 996 Anniversary model I was part of a group of six 40th AE owners who met up in 2015 back in Scarborough and which we are told was the largest gathering of the anniversary model that has taken place (worldwide!) since the cars left the factory. What we would love to do this year, is get more than 6 six cars together if possible and we are trying to do this at the R7 Porsche Festival. I wonder if you could kindly give this activity some publicly and encouragement through the 996 forum and possibly in the Porsche Post 996 section of the magazine, as it would be fantastic to get additional 40th Anniversary model owner together, as well as any other 996 owners.

The event usually has over 300 Porsches on show, and is supported by local Porsche specialists who bring a selection of cars which have included some used in the Porsche club championship race series.
More details can be found on the events page on the clubs website.
It should be a fantastic event.
Regards Andy.
