hi All,
Can anyone assist please, I have just taken my airbox out to change the alternator, whilst waiting for the new one to arrive decided to give the airbox a full clean . On opening and removing the filter I saw a frame holding a sponge material which was stained and when touched fell apart. There is nothing in the parts catalogue to show a part number for this. Can anyone advise to its purpose and more importantly where I can get a replacement.

Many thanks Keep safe
Peter

Hi Andy,
No its its not a DIY job its in all airboxes, underneath the main air filter. I have attached a second picture that shows the grill that holds it in place. In this case I have taken the grill out it is held in place by 6 screws, hence in my picture it is slightly out of line with the screw holes beneath

HI Peter
My apologies, (should never assume) just not in mine 99, and never seen one, and couldn’t find it on PET.
Good luck
Andy
