Hi there

There's a good one just up the road from me

Its black with sunroof 2004 and its only done 22k miles from new !!!!!! in excellent condition. - I believe its a manual and has just been serviced.

The chappy is selling it at £22,995 - absolute bargain[8D].

If your interested he's just off J25 on the M1 in Derbyshire.

Happy motoring (once you get one) [;)]

Cheers mate

Phil,

I use mine every day - very practical even for the shopping - surprising what you can get under the hood.

I travel approx. 10 miles each way - country roads in the morning and motorway in the evening so have a good variety of driving. I average a tank of petrol each week (includes play time) and usually get 260 miles to the tank at circa 55litres - I can get more to the gallon but you just cant help driving them or boredom sets in.

If I do a long motorway run it will return upwards on 30+mpg and if you really decide to push it you can expect very low double figures.

I use it every day and it sits outside day and night, sun, wind rain and snow (Shame but I have no garage), its never missed a beat in the three years I've had it and has not really cost any more than any other car Ive had. Its really very good in snow too being 4 wheel drive.

Join the few and have a daily thrill, you wont regret it.

Mike

My C2 has been absolutely brilliant and I doubt that a C4 could have been better. Had it for two years and nearly 9,000 miles. Makes driving fun and a real pleasure. My only regret is that I didn't get one years ago.

Hi Phil

Having just bought one, my first Porsche. Here are my thoughts:
Try and find one with sports (wing back) seats, they are more comfortable, and grip in all the right places.
PSE is great. I had no idea how much it would add to my enjoyment of the car!
Check the Radio etc. My Bose unit gave up fairly quickly (the amp), and looking that the amount for sale on e-bay etc, I think this is a common problem.
Make sure the air con works, and that the radiators/condensers have been cleaned out - these cost a lot to sort.
Go for a lighter interior colour - mine is teracotta red, with chrono dials and silver console. It always make me smile when I get in. A black/black interior does not have the same sense of occasion.

Good luck, and happy hunting

Paul

check;

brake discs - corrode on backs
exhaust - £2k to change
oil leaks - expensive - some engine out
air con cold - new condensers at 80k ish
full history desirable
water in front boot - check
check spoiler lifts properly
check phone sim works - £150 to fix if doesn't or new unit - £800 plus
check V5 and serial numbers match - bonnet and screen
