Afternoon all

I am off to work in Dubai in January for the next couple of years and so with much sadnees I have to part with my C4S (the only consellation being that I can hopefully pick up a left hand drive 997 in Dubai for not a huge amount?). Does anyone have any recent experience of buying or selling? I am conscious that the market is terrible for this, but I have no choice. I have a couple of months to go and was going to start advertising in:

Sunday Times, Top Marques, PCCGB forum etc

any advice please?

Rgds

Also try Pistonheads (free) or Autotrader, which worked well for Richard recently.

If you can't sell it, I'll look after it for you for 2 years for a small fee ;-)

You probably won't get as much as you're hoping for - prices seem to have slipped the wrong side of 30K. Mind you, you can probably purchase a nice 997 Turbo for that money in Dubai ... grrrr.

Selling advice? Yeah, don't at the moment!

If you really have to, then Autotrader, PH, or even sale or return at a dealer.

Can you not ship it out to Dubai with you?

I bought mine a coupe of months ago from Tom at 911virgin.com - if you just want to avoid the hassle give him a ring (but don't tell me the price as I will cry). Obviously he will only offer you a price that he can sell off the back of, but he's a nice bloke to do business with (I have bought two off him and sold two to him).
Good luck
