996 c4s side skirt

Hi all, anyone know where the best place to buy the plastic dark grey side skirt for my 996? Was quoted 280 + vat from opc today. It's the long piece of plastic trim on the side/underside of the drivers side. Mine is cracked.

Try phoning the parts department. I bought one for mine about 3 months ago, and it was £85+vat. It took my friend Tony about 30 minutes to change. I do recall it needed a few plastic clips at about £1 (total). I'll post the current price and part number tomorrow, when I get to my PC.

That sounds like the price of a painted one. The black plastic one is much cheaper. I'll confirm tomorrow.

Sill Cover RHS in Satin Black - 996.504.364.00.01C - £101.45 +vat
The painted one is for the Aerokit, and is about £400 in primer.

Maybe they quoted you a fitted price......?

I replaced both of mine earlier this year as they had a little gravel rash.

Part numbers as per Richards post (363 for the right side 364 for the left) unit price on my invoice was 97.54 each plus vat. Managed a significant discount from OPC though[]

A fairly easy job to change but be aware the little rubber grommets in the cill have a habit of disappearing into the cavity when you're refitting I spent ages fishing a couple out with a fairly sturdy cable tie.

the grommets are part no 996.504.715.00 and are 98p each

Thanks guys!! Very helpful, I phoned west London opc and he was still convinced that the painted one was the right one for me and said he'd never seen a black satin plastic along the bottom. I spent 15 mins talking a very irrate parts advisor through what it looked like. I gave up in the end. After Richard gave me the part number I called him and he said it wouldnt fit on my 996 C4S. I know it will and trust Richard implicitly.

I was quoted 105 + vat. Can I ask what you managed to negotiate ?

25%, worth getting some grommets too, from memory there are about 10 each side so 6 would do as spares

Check the numbers Ash. According to the PET 363 is left, and 364 is right. 9 times out of 10 RH numbers are even, and LH numbers are odd (in the third group).

Wow! That is good. Opc westlondon have said no more than 10% and only on certain things.
