I wonder if anyone can assist, we have been let down at the last minute by a 996 Cabriolet owner who volunteered to display his car at Luton Hoo on 27th May and and has just told me that he cannot make it! (Luton Hoo is a couple of miles from Junction 10 on the M1)

We are looking for a 996 Cabriolet (2WD) in tidy, original condition, does anyone know of a suitable car that may be available?

Details of the event area as follows:

OPC Hatfield is hosting a 'Cabriolet & Roadster' event at Luton Hoo on Sunday 27th May. They hosted a similar event back in February for the launch of the 991 which was very successful and they are hoping to repeat the success with this event for the new Boxster and 991 Cabriolet.

For the February event, PCGB provided an "Evolution Line Up" of 911s from the 70s through to the modern day cars. This display resulted in a lot of positive feedback so they are looking to arrange something similar for the Cabriolet and Roadster event.

For details of the location see: http://www.lutonhoo.co.uk/location

OPC Hatfield will look after display car owners on the day with refreshments, a BBQ lunch and entertainment including clay pigeon shooting, a falconry display and a tour of Luton Hoo. Also included will be drive slots in the new Boxster or 991 Cab.

Members that went to the February event had a very enjoyable day and were very well looked after by the OPC Hatfield team.

If you have a 996 Cab (2WD) and would like it to be included in the evolution display please contact me by e-mail or phone asap.
