996 Cabriolet Glass Window Retrofit....

Ah, now I've got your attention.[:D]

I spotted this in the Boxster section HERE. I emailed the company in Wales asking if they were thinking of doing the same for the 996, as I'm fed up of having a scratched rear window. They replied to the effect that they hadn't thought about it but may now look into it. If anyone's interested, send them an email and it may spur them along a bit. Their email is enq@bas-international.com

Well done, John- I'm impressed at the research you have done on this subject !! I have registered my interest at the email address you showed and hope that they eventually respond positively.
In the meantime can you tell me how to find the Boxster content part that you speak of, and do you know if the firm involved have a website ?
If you could email me direct on
marlin@spugs.fsnet.co.uk
, then that'd help, since I often delete dozens of PCGB forum messages without bothering to read 'em.
Cheers,
Marlin.

I don't have this problem.
I just use Meguiars ScratchX and it brings the plastic window up like new each time. Even polishes out the milky bits.

I'll try that for the time being. Likely to be considerably cheaper than a new window!! Having said that, it looks good on the Boxster...
