996 cold start

I am having problems with the first start of the day, the car will only start if the accelerator is pressed.Once the car has started it is fine and runs perfect all subsequent starts once warm are fine. I have renewed the air mass sensor and reset the throttle bodies. Suggestions would be welcomed.
