996 Convertible Roof Problems

Heres an interesting One

Had a problem with the roof not closing properly - add some Porsche Oil to the reservoir and that sorted that out

BUT (Why is there always a BUT !!)
The Roof Opens and Close perfectly well with the KEY FOB (Especially now ive got a decent battery)

But occasionally it doesn't CLOSE from the Switch.
I think this could be One of the sensors as its intermittent
Sensors are BOOT, HANDBRAKE

I do have a unit fitted that allows the Roof to be opened at up to 25mph but I don't think its this

With my unit fitted the BOOT OPEN stops the roof working but HANDBRAKE OFF or car in DRIVE allows the roof to work from switch

Maybe its the MAIN SWITH beginning to fail
