I can get a 996 front end well a chance of two. One is a front bumper from a carrera with the same shape headlight as the Boxster so i was wondering is this a direct replacement.

The other is a set of the larger "S" type lights and front bumper and was wondering can I retain my wings and bonnet. I have to make a move quickly so any help or advice would be great many thanks

Yes to the first question if you have a 986, but the grilles in the front are different. You may have to change the plastic rad shrouds etc as well.

I don't understand the 2nd question - the lights in an S are the same as non-S irrespective of the model year or revision status.

If you mean the later 987/997 then no, you would have to change wings and bonnet as well.

Many thanks Mark. Have to agree was not the clearest of messages lol!

sorry I mean the more rounded 4S or GT3 style lights the later S models came with the rounded bottem to the light rather than a flat bottom, I know it will require a bumper as well but I think the profile of the wing is the same aut dont want to buy lights and bumper then miss out by needing wings and bonnet as well.

Reason it I am painting the front end because of some stone rash on the rear edge of the wing so though tmight as well up grade the front to 911 spec when Im doing it.
