996 heated seats?

Just checking. I've seen a couple of cars advertised as having heated seats but as far as I can see they don't have buttons at the base of the centre console where I would expect them to be.
Both places know the product so whilst it might just be a typo it might be that there is another place for the buttons. Is there?
 
For what its worth - the buttons on my 2002 model are, as you say, at the base of the centre console ( and have 2 positions - warm & hot). Don't know if later models have re-positioned switches.

They should be on the 'batwing' at the bottom of the centre console. If they are anywhere else, someone has moved them.

The switch positions aft of the window switches are used for the rear windows on a cabriolet, or the rear release on a Targa.
 
Having them on my T cab Richard is exactly right about the position of the heated seat switches and function of the second set of switches for the cabriolet rear windows. I bet he also knows that with the roof down the rear window switches are disabled,dammit!
 
I've only seen it once, so they could have been moved or retro fitted(unlikely) trouble is cant remember which car it was on. I'll check my photographs, thinking black 2005 turbo s

You need a SmartTop to get round that.
