I was driving north up the B974 towards Banchory on Sunday about 10am and I past a 996 hooning southward (I was in my RAV4 so you will not have noticed!)
Anyway, about 5 mins later I saw what looked like a 911 tail pipe lying in road. Perhaps I should have stopped and pick it up but I did not think of that at the time. I was just past the summit of the road - (Google marks it as Cairn O'Mounth so that's probably not what it's called in real world) - a place where there are a load of daffodils still in bloom.
So - if you were the 996 guy and you have lost one of your tail pipes - you now know where it might still be...
